OFS 1991 年开办，2015 年搬到 Pasir Ris 的新校园，从 2 岁的 Pre-K1 读到 Grade 12。入学没有考试，也不要求孩子会英语，英语预备课程和中文母语课都包含在学费里。学费按学期公布，两学期一年。

OFS 适合什么样的中国家庭
比较适合
- 孩子英语基础弱，又不想耽误一年。OFS 不考试、不要求英语，先进 SPP 学英语，目标是和同龄人留在同一个年级。
- 工作调动时间不定，可能学期中间到新加坡。全年收生，学期开始后入学的学费按月折算。
- 小学、初中阶段想保住中文。中文母语课从 Pre-K2 开到 Grade 8，每周 4 节，排在课表里，不另收费。
需要慎重
- 住在西边或南边。学校在东部的 Pasir Ris，虽然有全岛校车，每天路上的时间要先算好。
- 孩子已经读高中，还想系统学中文。母语课只开到 Grade 8，高中阶段的中文怎么修，官网这几页没写。
- 需要较多学习支援。Tier 3 到 Tier 5 的个别化支援每季度 S$6,000 到 S$8,000，一年 4 个季度，合计 S$2.4 万到 3.2 万，差不多再交一份学费。
零门槛入学，但要住在新加坡
多数国际学校先考试再给位置，OFS 把这一步省掉了。招生页写得很直接：没有入学考试，不要求英语，全年都能入学。对刚到新加坡、英语还不行的孩子，这是最大的区别。

中国孩子怎么选语言课
英语不够的孩子先进 SPP：Level 1、2 集中学英语，数学照常由数学老师教；到 Level 3 进普通班。到了 Level 3，语言课时间可以选加强英语，也可以继续上母语课。
中文好的孩子，Pre-K2 到 Grade 8 可以选中文母语课，每周 4 节，有作业、考试和成绩报告。选母语课就不上外语课；外语课的选项里也有中文。Grade 9 以后母语课停开，想在高中继续学中文的，报名时要问清楚能选哪门课。
学费按学期收
OFS 的学费表按学期列，一学年两个学期，每学期开学前一个月交。表里的金额都已含 9% 消费税（GST）。算全年时把数字乘以 2：Grade 1–5 一年 S$35,100，Grade 11–12 一年 S$44,800。

常见问题
孩子一句英语都不会，OFS 收吗？
收。学校写明入学不要求英语，也没有入学考试。英语不是第一语言的学生进英语预备课程（SPP），入学时和每学期末各评估一次，达到基础水平后进普通班，SPP 不另收费。
学期中间入学，学费怎么算？
学期开始后才入学的，学费按月折算。正常情况下学费在每学期开学前一个月交，迟交不收罚款，但学校有权终止学生合同。
中文课要另外交钱吗？
不用。Pre-K2 到 Grade 8 的中文母语课排在课表里，每周 4 节，不另收费；选了母语课就不再上外语课。
提前退学，学费能退吗？
